CanStrive MedSpa & Wellness Clinic is proudly owned and operated by our very own Dr. Aheer who has over 15 years medical experience. With vast experience from family medicine, sports medicine, and being involved in numerous sports event coverage, Dr. Aheer now has expanded his offerings into aesthetic medicine.
At CanStrive, he will be performing all PRP services, Botox for TMJ and hyperhidrosis, Sports Medicine consults and consultations for acne.

Sandra Urbano, MScN, NP-PHC, RN (EC)
Nurse Practitioner
Sandra has amassed over 12 years of nursing experience in emergency, surgery, critical, and primary care.
Her passion is taking care of people throughout their life, all the way from womb to tomb, but Sandra has a passion for women’s health and also loves being able to express her aesthetic side through cosmetic injections and facial rejuvenation.
Sandra will be performing the following treatments at CanStrive: anti wrinkle injections (Botox), dermal fillers, IV drip therapy, and weightloss management consultations (Ohip covered).
Shivali Aheer
MedSpa Director
Shivali brings a unique blend of medical aesthetics and corporate financial experience. She began her corporate career in Human Resources but always had a passion for skincare and aesthetics. Shivali decided to focus on medical aesthetics when the opportunity arose to start up her own clinic. Partnering with her husband, Mukh, who is an MD, they began this venture together in hopes to change lives through skin transformations.
At CanStrive, Shivali is responsible for conducting patient consultations and designing personalized treatment plans based on specific skin concerns. Beyond that, she manages clinic operations.
Laura Carbone
Medical Aesthetician
Meet Laura – one of our certified medical aestheticians at CanStrive MedSpa. Laura has always had a passion for anything beauty and wellness related. She has a knack for knowing exactly what your skin needs to be at it’s optimal best! With a background in makeup, lashes, and all things skin, she is a great asset to our team!
Laura is happily married and a busy mom of 2. When she’s not at the clinic you will catch her hanging out with her family and friends, or spending time up North at the cottage. Her witty sense of humour and warm personality bring positive vibes to our clinic.
Laura will be performing the following services at CanStrive: Laser skin rejuvenation, laser acne treatment, laser hair removal, medical grade facials (including HydraFacial MD), chemical peels, and microneedling.

Kim Whiteford
Medical Aesthetics Trainer
Meet Kim – Our Medical Aesthetics Trainer. Kim’s has been in the industry for over 20 years. When it comes to skin, she has seen it all! Starting out as a make up artist, Kim moved onto Esthetics & then into Medical Aesthetics. First, as a Treatment Provider then an Educator, Trainer, Sales Representative & Medical Consultant.
Her passion is to be able to help, change and see people finally live in their best skin!
In her free time, Kim loves to travel, work out, go to concerts and most of all spend time with her 3 beautiful grandchildren.
At CanStrive MedSpa, Kim will be providing skin consultations in addition to supporting our medical aestheticians with treatments.
